One way to support the Music Centre North Queensland is to become a member. There are many benefits to members including special pricing for all events and discounts from local supporting businesses. More details are on the application form.

The application form can be printed from the link at the top of this page and then returned to MCNQ with your membership fee or donation.

Donations and Support

The Music Centre thanks a range of donors and sponsors, including Rotary Club of Townsville Sunrise, Dance North, Olivia O’Leary and Bruce and Dorothy Gibson-Wilde for the donation of computers, Northern Business Technology for the donation of a photocopier, The Townsville Cinema Group and a number of individual donors including Elizabeth Pearse, Norton Challenor, Stephanie Tonkin and Anonymous for making substantial private donations.

Donations to the Music Centre North Qld are tax deductable. Any donations are gratefully received and can be made at the MCNQ offices or by using the membership application form.

Financial assistance

Music Centre North Queensland receives operational assistance from Townsville City Council and Thuringowa City Council.

Designated project assistance from the State Government through Arts Queensland with the Regional Arts Development Fund, the Federal Government through the Australia Council, Australasian Performing Rights Association, Breakwater Island Casino Community Benefit Fund and the Australian Arts Trust.
